Spicy Prawn Garlic Spaghetti
The most memorable prawn pasta dish
I can’t STOP thinking about this creamy, garlic, spicy, prawn spaghetti and it’s so easy to make too!
120 g spaghetti
6 large prawns
400 ml thickened crème
125 ml white wine
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 teaspoon Cajun spices
2 teaspoon celery salt
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
25 g parmesan, finely grated
chives, finely chopped
extra salt to taste
In a stainless bowl add 1 teaspoon of the Cajun spices, celery salt, onion powder and paprika to the prawns and toss well
To a preheated pan add prawns and sear on each side and set aside
At the same time begin cooking the spaghetti in a bowl of boiling salted water
To the pan add the garlic, deglaze with white wine, add the crème and remaining Cajun spice and celery salt.
Pour a glass of white wine for yourself.
Let the sauce reduce and once the spaghetti is al dente, add the spaghetti to the pan. Add the chives and the prawns back to the pan with the parmesan.
Plate by arranging the prawns on top of the spaghetti and spoon on any excess sauce.
