Spicy Prawn Garlic Spaghetti

I can’t STOP thinking about this creamy, garlic, spicy, prawn spaghetti and it’s so easy to make too!

Serves: 2

Prep Time: 5

Cooking Time: 12 minutes

Total Time: 17 minutes

120g spaghetti

6 large prawns

400ml thickened crème

125ml white wine

4 garlic cloves, minced

2 tsp Cajun spices

2 tsp celery salt

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp paprika

25 g parmesan, finely grates

Chives, finely chopped

Extra salt to taste

  1. In a stainless bowl add 1 tsp of the Cajun spices, celery salt, onion powder and paprika to the prawns and toss well.
  2. To a preheated pan add prawns and sear on each side and set aside
  3. At the same time begin cooking the spaghetti in a bowl of boiling salted water.
  4. To the pan add the garlic, deglaze with white wine, add the crème and remaining Cajun spice and celery salt.
  5. Pour a glass of white wine for yourself.
  6. Let the sauce reduce and once the spaghetti is al dente, add the spaghetti to the pan. Add the chives and the prawns back to the pan with the parmesan.
  7. Plate by arranging the prawns on top of the spaghetti and spoon on any excess sauce.
