Easy and delicious date night meal.
200g fettucine pasta
½ a schallot, finely diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
200ml heavy cream
25g parmesan cheese
1 tsp pepper
Place pasta in pot of salted boiling water
Add butter to pan on low to melt, slowly raise temp and add in garlic and shallots, don’t burn the butter.
Continue to cook for 5 minutes before adding some pasta water and the cream, bring up to the boil before reducing the temp.
Once pasta is cooked add straight into pan, turn the heat off and add in the parmesan.
Keep agitating the pan and add more pasta water as needed
Finally add the pepper and plate up
